Since 1948, when ROUSALIS BROS started as a family owned and run business, to this day that it has evolved into a modern producer and bottler of alcoholic beverages and has consolidated its position at the leading edge of the sector, ROUSALIS BROS DISTILLERY S.A. has been producing and bottling more than 2,500,000 litres of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages annually, combining experience with modern technology and know-how, which has been passed down from generation to generation.

ROUSALIS BROS DISTILLERY S.A. is the only Greek Distillery with bulk imports of protected designation of origin rum from Indian Ocean countries and tequila Silver and Reposado from Mexico, which are available on the market in 0.7-lt and 1-lt packaging, thus offering its customers the choice of the best quality at the best price. The Company’s active presence in the Greek tourist market and the sale of its products to leading tourist complexes and business groups on the most popular Greek islands in terms of tourist attraction as well as in the country’s airports and to select bars and beverage merchants have dynamically expanded its range of business and have established and promoted the company both on the domestic and foreign markets thanks to the quality of its products. On the domestic front the company’s turnover has been on the rise for six consecutive years, since 2011, and beyond Greece the company’s exports increasingly account for 10% of its sales contributing to the depressed Greek economy, through payment of the excise duty, to a larger extent than any other alcoholic beverage Greek distillery.

THE OPERATION
The company’s business progress and success has been built on its commitment to quality, the stringently selected raw materials of highest quality, the state-of- the-art processing, the automated production and bottling systems and the highly aesthetic packaging in compliance with the strictest quality assurance specifications and the most demanding certification procedures.
Since January 2004, the Company has been operating from its state-of- the-art, company-owned facilities in Schimatari, Voiotia, covering an area of 13,000 sq. m., implementing the most stringent Food Safety Management Systems: EN ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, ELOT (Hellenic Organisation for Standardisation) 1416:2000
